Make stepmania never say gameover?Goback to songlist instead

I like stepmania alot, but its the waiting times between songs and stuff that gets me, if you lose a leval and get a gameover, yoursent back to the title screen, is there anyway i can just get it to skip the gameover sign and send me right back to my song list?

Another qoestion i have is i also want to permanently set the speed at 2x for now and have the notes come down the screen like in DJMAX, i know how to turn on this setting before a song , but i dont know how to keep these settings for all the songs i play... does anybody have any ideas?

1. Go to Coin Options and turn on EVENT MODE.

1.) to keep playing songs over and over without going back to the title screen, you need to turn on event mode. It's under one of the options menus.

2.) To keep your settings on 2x (or any settings you want to keep), make a profile. Once you've made your profile, just set it for player 1 and you'll always use your profile automatically every time you play stepmania. When you have a profile, it saves your mods/settings from the previous song. So if you like 2x every time, you won't have to change anything for the next song.

Hope this makes sense
