    Default Windows 7

Has anyone tried using their konami dance pad with windows 7 because I can get my laptop to recognize it has the xbox foot pad but when i try to update the drivers it says that it is unsigned so i click continue anyway however when it installs it says its unsigned and cannot be installed then says click here for the importance of driver signing. any help would be extremely extremely helpful.

Okay so I solved my own problem here what you should do if you have windows 7 the only thing stopping you from finishing step four of the process on post 1 is driver signing go to http://www.killertechtips.com/2009/0...ing-windows-7/ follow the instructions and continue on with the rest of the steps

    (Windows XP)
I followed your steps, and it works. My pad were not recognized as audio USB but just as "Konami Dance Pad" (not working with PC without driver).
Just a little problem during the steps, even I added the line in the "inf" my controller was not recognized as "XBCD Xbox DDR Pad" but as "XBCD Xbox 360 Pad" or something like this. But it doesn't cause major problem : Arrows are used as directional cross and does accept that the four arrows can be activated at the same time, so I think there won't be problem about jumps or hands (ITG). ABXY don't work but start and back do!

But there is however a problem : With XBCD or with Xbox 360 for Windows, when I plug my pad, everything on my computer goes wrong!

The Wi-Fi stops, the sound (USB professional card because I make music) bugs a lot, external memory (external HDD or USB key) turns on but doesn't start...

Do you know what is the meaning of this problem? How can I fix it? Thank you!

    STEP THREE
    - Start WordPad. Open XBCD.inf (usually in C:\Windows\inf\) and add the following line under "Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller."
    %XBCD_360.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_12AB&PID_0004 ; Konami Dance Pad DDR Universe
    - Save the .inf file and close WordPad.

I'm getting the "Access to C://Windows/inf/xbcd.inf was denied" message.
My user is the administrator so that's not the problem.
I've been at this for awhile and it's getting quite frustrating. Can anyone PLEASE help me?

    My email is: seanmcintosh804@msn.com
I also have Windows Messenger if you can send me a message.

    Thanks.

Hello, I'm trying to do this, but I simply can't. I have the same game pad as the one of the guide, and I do everything right, but when I do Step Four, the one that appears is called "%XBOX%360%Device" or something like that, I install it and my pad turns off.

    Help:(
