I set the difficulty on what the StepMania song editor displayed. I was thinking of scoring it higher but yeah.

Why did you use awkward speed changes and wierd random compresses and expansions? This song could've been a nice stream song, but it feels like speedcore gone even more wrong. Also, why did you make this an 8 footer?

Maybe this is what ddr/stepmania is becoming, and im the only one still attached to techno songs like Dynamite Rave, Rhythm Bandits, and Burning me Up (from stepmix 1)

nothing against you, but i hate these speedcore songs with a passion

To leave on a positive note, i finally found the DDR extreme 2 songs at ddruk! dload it now.
Care to add your name to the 'owned in stepmania list'?

    To JD.

Check out my Theme of ZERO song then. Hosted on DDRPlace.

I guess you're more of the stream kind of person. I like stream but sometimes it's good to throw in a song with crazy BPMS and stops. Going with the StepMix 2 Theme "Steps that are varied and new". So I was going for varied steps and something kinda new.

I like songs like that, but I guess I'm mostly about Happy Hardcore and crazy songs (Tsu...gamush).

Maybe somewhere down the road I'll step a J-Pop song.

MODS: And maybe can there be a way that I can resubmit the song with a higher Heavy rating???

I really think you overused the mines on the hard steps, and even without them, it's definitely at least a 12, not an 8. I can always get an A or AA on an 8, but tend to get B and C (I've failed a few 12s recently) on 11 to 12 and since I had to disable mines just to finish the song, I have to say it's a 12. I'll try the other difficulties since I tend to do that when the foot ratings are misrepresented.

Anyway, 2/5 for me based on those two things. I'd play this one a few times though if they were fixed to start getting good at rapid taps in patterns that I'm not good at (somehow you found them all) and because it's actually a bit of an odd challenge since I tend to do pretty good with 12th notes when I really shouldn't given the weaknesses in my ability. If they were fixed, I'd score it a 4/5 had I not already voted.

Since you said you'd try a J-Pop song, I'd like to see you try steps for a song like Yorukumoryuu Yamikaze by 403. I'm not so sure it's J-pop, but I swear it's begging for a simfile, and 403 is Japanese and sings in English. That song doesn't have lyrics so you won't have the problem that the guy that made the Speedy simfile is having for not providing a lyrics file with it.

If you can give me the song, I'll step it. Thank you for you input.
