This song is certainly not for the faint of heart. The hard singles stepchart is a very difficult 9 with plenty of 16ths scattered throughout the song, creating faux gallops, a lot of triplets, and a few nasty little step swarms.

The difficulties are 1/4/6/9/13 (singles) and 4/7/8/11 (doubles). Please enjoy this simfile and have fun!

As an added bonus to this entry, an alternate .sm file which includes the background animation script used in mDaWg's ITG2 PC and the r21 version of ITG2 arcade is included in the folder labled "extras". This will also work on RoXor's ITG PC with the ITG2 upgrade patch.

Thanks! Hopefully Chris would promote it. It is my best simfile and I stand proud of all the work I have done on it. :D The graphics are a 300% improvement over an older set of graphics I had for it a while back. I started this project few months ago.

When you download this song, please be advised that of all the StepMix 2 entries, this one will probably be the hardest entry to score on. Play the expert steps and you will see why.

This entry, unlike Disconnected Hazard, is suitable for everyone from beginners to the most hardcore players. The stepchart difficulties start easy, but quickly escalate to pure hell in the monster expert stepchart. As novice players gain skill and potential, this song's potential grows with them. Those looking for a great ITG song for everyone should look no further than this entry. :D

Do I understand correctly that this is just disconnected samples on top of a preexisting trance song? If so, is this allowed?

It's just a small section of some random unknown song, but not a major part of it. I figured that since this part was looped repeatedly, it would be no big deal. I made adjustments to the sounds so that it sounds different. I asked akhonda97 about it and she had no problem with it.
