    Question First time creating a song

    I found this on youtube and want to create a song for it, I riped the silent video and the mp3 already, and I also successfully made a banner. My problem is since I haven't edited a song before, I don't know how to match the notes to the beats of the song, I used audicity to help but the wave pattern goes messy after characters start to speak.
    And I don't know how estimated BPM of the song will affect the process of note mapping, would someone please kindly give me some advice on how to properly map a song?
