Disqualified for Ranking problem

Okay I am using stepmania 5 with the tournament edition theme and for some reason it wont let me save my scores on some songs like on in the groove 2 the disconnected song is keep saying disqualified for ranking when I hit the options menu. Why is it keep saying that? Is there a way to fix this issue?

1) SM5TE is not (just) a theme, it comes with a modified exe. One of its feaures is forcing disqualifcation on (for the initial release, to gauge feedback).

2) if you play songs with cmods (that have significant timing changes) or modifiers that add/remove notes, those cause a disqualification.

Oh that sucks lol cause in the groove uses time changes a lot.

Doesn't OpenITG have this same DQing system? I figure it could work since this version is for tournaments and tournaments are usually not tolerant of C-mods iirc

sm5te isn't as much for tournaments as it is for "legit" scores; using the built in StepMania DQ system is one way of forcing things :)

C-mods, mods which remove mines, jumps, etc. are considered as cheats. Bear with it DDRShadow23.

Alright then. Guess I will have to use the normal speeds when I go play in the groove songs again.
