Default Looking for pad - NO FOAM, USB PC compatible, Long lasting

A while ago I used someone's advice to get a sheet of plywood and thick clear plastic to make a "sleeve" for my pad so I'm not worried about slippage or the pad getting bunched up due to heavy play. All I want is a good functional pad for less than $30 that will last well, work with a PC, and have NO FOAM. I've used two of those foam ones, but it dulled the response and made the game really hard to use. I'll just wear shoes if it's a problem.

    Any advice from personal experience?

They don't make very many softpads for the PC. Hell I can't even think of one now that you mention it.

You might try one of these with an adapter.

Or just suck it up and shell out the extra doe for a foam mat. This one is actually decent though and USB.

I just went with the REDOCTANE soft mat but its only for ps2. I had a hard time finding a USB/PS2 converter so I just gave up. It is probably the best softmat though. IMO
