Best starter pad?

Sorry for the Newb question, I'm a tad new to this and I've only used pads for consoles, sadly non of which i still have or are compatible so the question is, what is the current best pad for about $50-80.

I did see the section on the main site that mentioned the 'RedOctane Ignition 3.0', is that the best and if so how much should it cost around?

P.s. I may also if i enjoy using stepmania more than the arcade version I would invest in a metal pad and would use the other for player 2, any recommendations there ether?

My 1st good dance pad, I got is Impact Dance Pad. While it looks like plastic dance pad the arrows are foamed.While it's quite hard to use hands on more than 2 arrows at once you can still just "basket" them. So I can recommend it.

And if you still have console pad, you can just buy PS2/Xbox to USB adapter.

I'd go with this one. Its right in your price range and everything buddy. If you get the USB one you won't have to mess around with stupid converters.
