Rate Mods In OpenItg 2

I need to know exactly how to add a rate mod to ITG2. I believe it is called a rate mod, yes? I want my songs to be played faster/ slower than they are normally. So if anyone could give me exact instructions as to what I am supposed to do, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi all, I am new to Stepmania and have been having problems with .smzip songs automatically installing themselves into the game, thus creating a lot of groups and looking very messy. I noticed that others were having trouble with locating the files and thought i'd share the solution I found. I have StepMania v5.0 preview 4 and am running on Windows 7 x64 bit.
