Request-URI Too Large on pulling SM5 source

google code is a *****. I can't pull from the repository lately. Request-URI Too Large is says.

It's on my radar, it just hasn't been a really high priority. Based on star counts, this isn't a high pain point for very many people.

not high priority sure. HG is all about >9000 heads and forking/merging. if google code can't handle it like a man, they should just go back hosting svn projects.

this is a little bit irritating to explicitly specify the branch I would like to pull, and this way I'll only see default, but at least I can pull that.

EDIT: after pulling every branch manually I can do a global pull again.
