Default Wired Xbox 360 Controller suggestions?

I use a normal wired 360 controller, but what are the suggestions for key layouts for it?

I tried having a GH3 layout for it. Where it went like this

    LT: Left
    LB: Down
    RB: Up
    RT: Right

But the problem with that setup is that you can't hit LT and RT at the same time. So either what is a fix to this, or what are some other suggested button layouts?

    Thanks for any help~

    Use A B X and Y?

Is this even for SM or DDR Universe (I'm assuming)?
Yoshi is better than Mario, and you know it's true

Beta testing at the moment. Good at pad? PM me for details.

    It's for Stepmania.

And it could work. I tried ABXY twice before I posted this, and it kinda felt awkward, but it does work. I'm just so used to using a normal controller for rhythm games with my usual setup.

    Thanks, though.

The only way it would work is if you follow the guides on how to get a DDR pad to work. Your having the same issue most have that own a DDR pad. In place of the DDR pad just use the 360 controller.
