How can I make Stepmania act like a console version...

I want to eliminate the timer and also the 3 song thing.... so I want it to not go back to the main menu every three songs and I want it to not time out on me but I don't see thse options on the ini pads or the options....

options -> coin options -> event mode on.

timer is in machine options.

just a question if you did free play how do get back to the options then??
EDIT: lol i just used scroll lock and got to options but thanks for other ways ^.^

You have to delete one of the ini's in the data folder (not sure wich) so taht the game can reboot kind of sort of...

in StepMania 3.9 you can hit F3 to cycle between Home/Free/Pay (though probably not in that order iirc); in SM4, I forget which button it is, but hold down F3 and you should see something for it.
