    Default smzip file: Mac SM 4.0 HELP!!!

    So I just downloaded SM 4.0 because 3.9 wouldn't open. Now I'm reading that in order to even put songs on it (.dmg file: doesn't have normal folders), you need this thing called a .smzip file. I don't have that and was wondering if anyone knew where to get it. I know this sound's n00bish, but I'm just trying to play SM.

    Thanks in advance for the quick replies :)

    The smzip. thing is really just another compressed folder made just for StepMania. All StepMania versions have a program to import and export those packages , so it's not much of a big deal. Think of it as a normal zip. folder that memorized where StepMania is and will unload itself in it. =)

    To unload the smzip. goodies...

    Smiple click on them and StepMania, where ever you put it, will do the rest.

    To make smzip. packages yourself, go to...

    StepMania--->
    Program--->
    <(smpackage)>

    The rest is self-explanatory.

    Oh, Mac?

    Eh... I'm lost on that one.
    *goes out to buy a Mac*

    Edit: wow I just mis-read the whole thing. ::facepalm::
    (That's what happens when you mix essay with StepMania. I guess. =|)

    How do you get it? download them. Again, smzip.'s are just folders made for StepMania with songs and stuff in them.

    I know I have to download it, but can you provide a link please? Every time I Google "smzip", it just comes up with a bunch of threads with people who know what they're talking about. PLEASE help me out.

    Thanks.

    Well, it depends on what kinda of songs you like to download. =|

    If you feel lazy and don't care what you want, just download a pack.

    List of packs.

    Well I was looking for Jordan by Buckethead and/or The Extremist by Joe Satriani.

    If someone could help me find these smzips, I would be so grateful.
