    Default OpenITG, beta 1 [official thread]

    Current revision: beta 4 (WIP)
    Latest release: http://openitg.gr-p.com/wips/wip1-2013-01-03

    Main page: http://openitg.gr-p.com/
    Project's source repo: http://github.com/openitg/openitg
    My source repo (more bleeding-edge): http://github.com/vyhd/openitg

    --------

    OpenITG, presented by BoXoRRoXoRs, is an open-source, 3.95-based StepMania build written to help keep the In The Groove series alive. There are PC builds for Linux and Windows, and an arcade build for existing In The Groove machines.

    If you have any problems or bug reports, feel free to post it here. Thanks, and enjoy. :)

    "theme,xxx" means that you can refer to themes to switch to in themed game commands. It'll throw a warning if the theme is invalid, but it won't cause any other errors.

    Basically, if I theme the following on ScreenTitleJoin:

    Choice1=stopmusic;theme,h4x;screen,ScreenCaution

    Then OpenITG will load and seamlessly change to the h4x theme during the screen load, between tweens. :) This can be used for theme switchers, most notably, but it's really themeable to whatever you like. Be creative! That's why I softcode this stuff.

    Also: OpenITG, alpha 6 is out! I suffered a rather bad migraine, but that's over with, so the release is being uploaded as we speak, and it's still technically "today" in my time zone, so it's all good. :)

    The source code's there if you want to work on it. The major driving force behind this project is an open-source replacement - if you want to grab code from it, go ahead. Just retain the copyright notice in the source code, or give credit somewhere in the release files, and you may do whatever you like with it. :)

    Pump sims have never actually had good interfaces.

    SM's existing themes are most likely the best, and when someone makes it, there will be a perfect one in 4.0.

    As for channels, Pump it Up Paradise Next2 did that with groups.

    Though still in the works, OptionsList is functioning quite well. It's all a matter of both making it a little more "3.95-ish" and stabilizing it.
