I've found the noteskin problem.
Who the F*** renamed it "Tap explosion Bright 4x4" on the .sprite file?
And how come I an the ONLY one who has this problem?

uhm.. I for one have barely ever used the deafult noteskins: all my 3.9+ testing has been for KMX3, so I long ago set up things for my own needs. >_>

Quick question - if you already have an RC version, can you install Final on top, or should you delete it somehow first? (although I'm considering reinstalling SM entirely anyway for other reasons...)

Problem: Groove radar properly shows up on the folder SM starts in, but when I switch to a different song folder, it shows a maxed out groove radar with no step stats.

delete your cache and let it reload.
I CANNOT stress this enough people, rebuild your cache and it SHOULD fix problems like that.
