    Default StepMania 3.9 Plus Redux!

    to fix the upside down groove radar, delete the Cache folder

    StepMania 3.9 Plus is an enhanced build of StepMania 3.9 that includes a number of new features:

    • Rolls
    • Modifier Mines (from Mungyodance 2)
    • Niceties from SM4 (wrap-around scrolling in edit menu)
    • and tons more, see the old thread for a complete list.

    The once-official site is now down:

    So AJ has rehosted some of the files here:

    (Linux version isn't available yet, but you could always try building from source, then taking the theme/noteskin/whatever files from the Windows binary.)

    Install Instructions
    1) Get a copy of vanilla 3.9 from SourceForge and install it.
    2) Extract the 3.9 Plus archive over this directory. When asked to replace files, say yes.
    3) Enjoy!

    Apparently zmey's Pumpmania implements accurate Pump holds, and that build is also based on 3.9.

    Also, 3.9 PLUS IS NOT STRICTLY ABOUT PUMP IT UP, so please don't waste your time and ours asking about very small things that are Pump-specific.

    3.9+ is FINAL at this time, so new feature requests will have to be taken up by a fork (if they haven't been done so already). I highly suggest starting from Redux if possible.

    Re-posting my question from the old thread:

    You know on the select music screen you can switch between Single, Double, and Solo just by double-tapping down when you're on the highest difficulty? How do I get rid of that?

    I can't find "UseModeSwitcher" on the Stepmania.ini, on Data's folder.
    I wanna get rid of that option to make it single, double and solo on MusicSelectScreen. and by the way, all the songs appear Maxed Out on the graphic!, it doesn't matter if i low the difficult, the graphic is still maxed out.

    Submiting fixes for holds is allowed?

    Because I managed to fix negative BPM Skips for PIU Holds

    @Aldo_MX: What simfiles did you test those fixes with? How do you know they are correct?
    The endpoint of a -BPM skip is not the point at which the BPM becomes positive again; it is the point at which the positive BPM has run for long enough to "recover" the "time lost" from the negative BPM. 3.9+ already looks for tap notes inside skips and excludes them from scoring; you might want to reference the part of the code where that is done.
    The problem is that the world is run by neurotypical businessmen who just want to see results now.

    I did a simfile for a stepmaker contest, and It works perfectly, but if you have a simfile that doesn't work please send me it so I can test it. Actually what I did is to follow your tip of "tickcount 0"

    EDIT: Another Release, AutoPlay Combo:

    -removed, check page 2-

    Only bug: AutoPlay Miss does not break AutoPlay Combo since AutoPlay is not supposed to Miss.
    Solution: Declare a new variable to accumulate AutoPlay Combo and reset it on Miss, since GAMESTATE->m_iNotesInAutoPlay must not get reseted because Stepmania wont detect that AutoPlay was used if you get a Miss at the last step.

    Another EDIT: Partial Fix for Random Misses with PIU Holds:

    -Removed, still misses with low FPS and Tick>=12-
