    A: get the most recent SM4 release 1-3 I think. You appear to be using an older release.

    I've already tried that, but it doesn't help using any Stepmania 4 stuff. This just happened after I installed new RAM... could it be that I have to change information for Stepmania so that it recognizes this? Or that maybe I have to download something new for my RAM?

    Are you hasving crashes like this in anything else? What is the info for the RAM you installed? (you know, its speed, its size, etc) and what was the other ram you were running?

    I would suggest finding a program to "test" your ram and let it run for an hour or so, while you are off doing something else, so that you can see if the memory may be damaged.

    Just, let us know any information you can: ONE of us in here should be able to figure it out.

    You could have the new RAM clocked wrong or running with the wrong voltage.

    Try running memtest86 or something.

    Yeah, I am sorry I cannot be of much more help than this, but I am not good at figuring out random errors. Shake and other SM4 heavy people might be able to, and of course, devs, but even he thinks it is just a ram issue.. so yeah, check what he and I suggest, and check everything.

    Well, the RAM I had was PC3200 and the RAM I have now is PC4200, which isn't a problem normally for computers... but could it affect Stepmania in that way?
