when playing sm how do you make it that the background is black and the notes are centered at the top? if theres something you have to do to the metrics.ini or something like that please tell me

to have the notes centered, go to Options, Gameplay Options, Center Player 1 = on

not sure about hiding the background

In 3.9 it's Options, Gameplay Options, Solo Singles
In 4.0 it's what Foti said

Go to Options, Background Options, BG Brightness and set it to 0%
