Actually the fan on the graphics card won't spin so therefore it refuses to work.

AFAIK not really.

Windows Vista and 7 and Ubuntu 9.10. My problems physical though.

Most of the people I see on the forums are guys (I also hang out at r21freak quite a lot, as well as AiJ), so I just assumed you were a guy.
Though now that explains a lot.
