PIUIO on Windows?

I have a question
It's possible make PIUIO works on SM5 under windows xp ?
I have installed LinuxMint, SM5 Alpha3 and the game, in 2 hours, shutdown the computer (cpu exceed limits), and i think that windows xp could work better

PIUIO is a linux driver. It will not work in Windows.

Further, Windows XP likely will not fix the issue you're describing. If you have an issue with "cpu exceed limits" then you likely have your computer overclocked too much or you have a bad CPU, motherboard or RAM. Changing software will not fix a hardware issue.

1. As OmnipotentEntity stated, the PIUIO Linux Kernel driver is... for Linux. It will not work on Windows.
2. The system requirements for Windows XP are not especially different than the system requirements for Linux Mint. If your hardware is really not capable of running Linux Mint, then it is not capable of running Windows XP. It it much more likely that you are experiencing some sort of hardware problem. (a faulty motherboard, or bad RAM, or etc.)
3. SM5 alpha 3 is reaaaaally old. Please consider upgrading to beta 4a.

That error sounds like you need to replace/clean the CPU fan or re-seat the heatsink.

But when i put the Exceed2 HDD, the game works all day and fine.
